This was so funny! Every chart was a new hilarious take on things that I (definitely, probably) have over-thought at one point during my life。

I found this book while visiting a friend in Jan 2021 and another friend got it for me off my wish list in July 2021。 This is such a perfect book for me and many people I know。I love charts, I definitely overthink many decisions (I'm sitting next to a Pro/Con list notepad right now) and am a very visual learner。I enjoyed that the book was separated into manageable sections, though 136 pages of full page charts isn't too dense for most readers。 My favorite charts are:*Can I injure myself while Q- I found this book while visiting a friend in Jan 2021 and another friend got it for me off my wish list in July 2021。 This is such a perfect book for me and many people I know。I love charts, I definitely overthink many decisions (I'm sitting next to a Pro/Con list notepad right now) and am a very visual learner。I enjoyed that the book was separated into manageable sections, though 136 pages of full page charts isn't too dense for most readers。 My favorite charts are:*Can I injure myself while Q-tipping?*What can I serve at this party?*Am I good at my job?*What's so great about camping?*Should I go out?*Is this a good fit?*What if there really is something wrong with me?*What would The Beatles do?I plan to keep this in my coffee table and pull it out for reflection at stressful and peaceful times alike。 I may want to buy framed prints of some charts。 Simplicity can be wonderfully compelling。 。。。more

Repeatedly interesting A very well thought-out book with interesting diagrams, snazzy graphics, and some self-help messages。 Could be further elaborated upon, in a next/updated iteration。

Whoever gives this less than 5 stars is officially a curmudgeon。 Michelle is so clever and creative and insightful, and her charts pop into my head during random daily moments, like friendly little illustrated reminders。 This book makes an amazing gift。 I can’t wait for her second book!

Christina

Brilliantly funny, smart, intuitive, and intriguing for an overthinker like me。 I loved it!

One of the best birthday presents I have had-- what a brilliant & funny book! Rial created this collection at the intersection of her gifts for expressing information simply and utilizing clever visuals in the process。 Great coffee table book (or waiting room book), and a couple of them would do well on the wall of a therapist's office。 One of the best birthday presents I have had-- what a brilliant & funny book! Really fun, a good gift/coffee table book。 It's a lighthearted look into the anxieties we all have and I think most everyone could find a funny and relatable chart in here。 Really fun, a good gift/coffee table book。 It's a lighthearted look into the anxieties we all have and I think most everyone could find a funny and relatable chart in here。 。。。more

A quick fun read, this book was really relatable sometimes! It felt both funny and sad - after all, the author expresses her anxiety through these charts。 But, of course, I was already won over as I love charts and I loved books about anxiety or mental health! I thought it original and still impactful in a way。

Theresa

Great fun! Loved such creative info graphs!

Being a visual learner, I enjoyed this book that shows artistic fun ways to show graphs, charts and many more that we use in our lives for work and school。 It's relatable with general lives of how we think for certain topics。 Being a visual learner, I enjoyed this book that shows artistic fun ways to show graphs, charts and many more that we use in our lives for work and school。 It's relatable with general lives of how we think for certain topics。 。。。more

101 charts that really make you think。。。am I overthinking this? I’m a visual person so I really LOVED this。 I couldn’t help but laugh through many of the illustrations。 So entertaining!

Save your moneyThis book is not a self help book to help you if you overthink。 Instead it's just a bunch of diagrams with the author's thoughts and what she overthinks about。 Some of the diagrams didn't convert well enough to Kindle for me to read on my phone。 The most useful part of the book is the success/failure chart。 I would have read this book for free but I paid money for it and feel ripped off。 Save your moneyThis book is not a self help book to help you if you overthink。 Instead it's just a bunch of diagrams with the author's thoughts and what she overthinks about。 Some of the diagrams didn't convert well enough to Kindle for me to read on my phone。 The most useful part of the book is the success/failure chart。 I would have read this book for free but I paid money for it and feel ripped off。 。。。more

The BEST coffee table book (especially if you're a therapist and need something for your clients to read in the waiting room。。。 post-pandemic of course)。 Rial does a phenomenal job at creating witty titles and creative artwork to portray and normalize life's questions, big or small。 10/10 recommend for a fun, quick read。 The BEST coffee table book (especially if you're a therapist and need something for your clients to read in the waiting room。。。 post-pandemic of course)。 Rial does a phenomenal job at creating witty titles and creative artwork to portray and normalize life's questions, big or small。 10/10 recommend for a fun, quick read。 。。。more

IMPRESSIONS➽ This is an artistic book dedicated to overthinkers and what their thought process can look like in graphs, which I liked as a fellow overthinker!!➽ I liked the graphs and how creative they were, they all looked very cool and I liked how they incorporated real objects。➽ However, while I found some fun and relatable, I wasn't too impressed with the book overall。 It was a nice read but also had a lot of graphs I wasn't as interested in or that weren't as relevant to me personally。Y IMPRESSIONS➽ This is an artistic book dedicated to overthinkers and what their thought process can look like in graphs, which I liked as a fellow overthinker!!➽ I liked the graphs and how creative they were, they all looked very cool and I liked how they incorporated real objects。➽ However, while I found some fun and relatable, I wasn't too impressed with the book overall。 It was a nice read but also had a lot of graphs I wasn't as interested in or that weren't as relevant to me personally。You can find me here 💖 Book Blog | Twitter | Be my friend on GR! 。。。more

This book was really cute, and exactly the distraction I needed from the ongoing f$%&ery that was 2020, and that is now, unfortunately, spilling into 2021。 Some things I didn't quite "get" but some things hit the nail on the head, spot on。 I was hoping she was going to delve into deeper issues。。。 you know, the stuff I truly DO overthink about。 I think there's a lot to unpack in overthinker's brains that she could cover in subsequent books。 This book was really cute, and exactly the distraction I needed from the ongoing f$%&ery that was 2020, and that is now, unfortunately, spilling into 2021。 Some things I didn't quite "get" but some things hit the nail on the head, spot on。 I was hoping she was going to delve into deeper issues。。。 you know, the stuff I truly DO overthink about。 I think there's a lot to unpack in overthinker's brains that she could cover in subsequent books。 。。。more
